My passion for photography began when I was just seven years old. My father handed me his old medium-format camera, a Kodak 66 (at least, I think that’s what it was) and I used it to take my very first photos on a family trip to Venice. That simple act sparked a curiosity that grew into a hobby and, eventually, a lifelong passion.

From breathtaking landscapes to intimate portraits, from vibrant street scenes to the unpredictability of wildlife, I’ve fallen in love with capturing the world through my lens. Photography allows me to tell stories, freeze fleeting moments, and explore the beauty around us.

It hasn’t always been easy. Like many beginners, I faced a steep learning curve. Photography is a delicate balance between mastering technical skills and developing an artistic eye. At times, I struggled with self-doubt and lacked the confidence to fully express myself through my work. But I’ve learned that perseverance is key—practice leads to improvement, and improvement leads to the kind of satisfaction that makes every challenge worthwhile.

Some of my favorite moments come from rediscovering the beauty in my own backyard. You don’t have to travel far to find inspiration; often, the perfect setting, light, or moment is closer than you think.

Whether you're capturing a stunning landscape, an everyday detail, or a meaningful connection, photography is a deeply creative experience. It’s not just about the images—it’s about the joy, growth, and enrichment it brings to both the photographer and those who experience the work.
